God continues to bless and open great doors of opportunity for our family to minister here in Singapore. What a privilege to serve and represent the King of kings. We certainly appreciate your continued prayers for us and our ministry. It is because of the goodness of God and prayers that we are sustained. Thank you for your feedback and encouragement.
Since our last update, God has done some amazing things. We preached and ministered to the Open Bible Baptist Church. I am saddened to inform you that after much prayer and pastoral search, this small congregation will be meeting for the last time next week to officially close the doors. Though I am saddened, I am also encouraged. I am encouraged because many of the remaining members will be attending a great church, Ambassador Baptist Church, led by Pastor Johnny Tan.
The opportunity of preaching at a teen outing this week was a wonderful experience. I was thankful to preach to and fellowship with many teens. I believe God met with us! I was thankful and encouraged to see many brand new teens. In particular, the Lord used a lady to bring six young men from her school. They were all lost, so I preached an evangelistic message in hopes that they could hear the Gospel very clearly. These were all boys that are on their school championship basketball team. Please pray for a young man that indicated his desire for salvation during the invitation. I am thankful that God allowed our hearts to knit and for me to win their hearts. This Tuesday, they invited me to play basketball with them. I am praying that God will once again use me to share with them the Gospel.
The following day, I taught many young people that attended a church activity at a nearby park. We had a wonderful time. It encourages me to see so many of the workers from Ambassador Baptist Church constantly and consistently love on young people. It is vitally important that we continuously reach our next generation.
Missionary, Pastor Brian Collins of the Tabernacle Baptist Church conducted their first ever missions conference. Wow! What an amazing experience to see the progression of a mission church that is now supporting missionaries around the world. Pastor Collins invited my family to participate as they concluded their conference. I sure enjoyed sharing the Word of God and encouraging them about missions. Many are first-generation Christians so to see their faith in action and be moved to do something around the world touched my heart in an incredible way. Please pray for Pastor and Mrs. Brian Collins. They are wonderful servants serving in Singapore.
