7 Signs of a Godly Mother

I am truly thankful for my mother whom I love dearly. However, as I celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend, I want to especially acknowledge my wife, the mother of my three boys. She is a truly a gift of grace in which God has bestowed upon me and my children. She is a great wife and godly mother to my children. This post is dedicated to my sweetheart, Susan.

1. Her Worth…Colossal
   Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is FAR ABOVE rubies.
2. Her Work…Continuing
   She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hand.
3. Her Wisdom…Charming
   She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. v. 14, 21
4. Her Wealth…Considerable
   She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. v. 16, 18, 24
5. Her Words…Consoling
   She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. v. 26
6. Her Warmth…Captivating
   Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. v. 28
7. Her Worship…Challenging
   but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. v. 30
