Have you ever had one of those days that you wish you could just replicate several times over? Enjoying a good reflective day allowed me to understand with deeper understanding why that day was so great.

You have to admit, if there is a company that has become a house-hold name, it’s Apple Computers. Whether you use an iPad, iPhone, iTunes, iMac, iPod, or other Apple products, you have fallen in love with its easy to operate devices, clutter free thinking, and stable operating system which runs efficiently and mindlessly in the background. As we understand the momentum shifts of today’s churchgoers and seekers alike, we must thoroughly understand how to relate.

My unofficial disclaimer, “I know this is a little geeky and nerdy to write such an article. However, my prayer is that you will understand the heart of the matter.” Despite it’s geeky parallel of leadership and Apple Computers, I think that many can still relate.

For many ministries across the country, your fiscal year is about to end and your new fiscal year will begin July 1. If this is not your ministry, no worries, keep reading. You can still be helped! Actually, in more ways, you may just be helped more since you have more time to chew and implement these processes in which I will lay out for you.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed at the end of the year or at the beginning of the year? To tell the truth, many of us do not drive our church, but rather we allow the church (or the duties of the church) to drive us. We allow the busyness of the ministry to drive what we need to accomplish next. We attack projects by way of urgency and immediacy.
